Ahead of you await 3 days of infinite possibilities. You will be guided on all levels. You will meet new friends, see the beautiful landscape of southern Sweden, and at the same time face your own inner landscape and your core truths. - An unexpected adventure in its simplest, yet most powerful form, all played out inside of you.

Your journey begins at the Central Station in the heart of Malmö. What a perfect place to start! - Entering the new, saying goodbye to the old! The group of like-minded men are waiting, eager to get going. We all set off, slowly but purposefully traversing the city on foot, full of anticipation for what the weekend holds in store for us. While walking, we contemplate, we converse, and we open up for new ideas and insights.

You are carrying a light backpack holding just what you need for the day. The rest of your luggage is transported to our Base Camp. Ahead of us lies the day's 25 km of level walking.

A couple of hours later we leave the busy city behind, entering the vast coastal landscape. The wind might sweep away some old believes you hold about yourself. You embrace your new state of being - slower but clearer. Your true inner voice is getting stronger.

Along the way we find a peaceful place to settle for a rest. Mark offers a guided meditative coaching supported by nature's 3.8 billion years of wisdom. Maybe this unlocks a new understanding and wins your acceptance? You ponder on how you will best use this gift.

We enjoy our packed lunch, fascinated by what a tired body and the presence of nature does to the tastebuds!

Our walk continues south. You are intruigued by how well you already seem to know your fellow brothers. Open and honest conversation about things that carry true meaning are taking place all around you, and you are very much part of the play. Mark and Martin are guiding in the background, holding space for the group, gently responding, challenging and guiding.

We reach our base camp, in the middle of an ordinary small village, but still a very special place and perfect for our needs. Your luggage is waiting for you and so is a warm shower :-)

You take your time to settle in, maybe you feel like a short rest or maybe you chose to reflect on the day with your new friends.

It's soon time to start preparing an evening meal. This is a group activity and everyone gets their sleeves rolled up. Maybe you help to get the fire in the garden going for the vegetarian barbecue, or you find something else that needs to be done? We are starting to work as a team now, and it feels good.

You relax and allow yourself to be you. There are no expectations or labels. A deepening connection within the group replaces the need for judgement.

After our meal together we are treated to a talk entitled, "The Magical Nature of Being”.

Martin highlights how little we know about our existence and how we still act so predictably, as if we know it all. Martin discusses the scientific evidence that our thoughts actually influence so much more than we have been led to believe.

The talk paves the way for understanding and experiencing life from a much broader, deeper and holistic perspective and with a humility for its greatness.

After a good night's sleep our hike continues out towards one of Sweden's most southerly and most scenic tips. But first, we gently wake our bodies with some stretching and a tasty energy-giving breakfast.

The hike takes us through the beautiful settlements of Ljunghusen, Skanör och Falsterbo. Around the day's halfway mark we stop by the sea to enjoy our packed lunch. Our conversations continue and intensify. Insights flow. You feel safe. You are present. You feel at home in this company. You feel alive!

We complete the hike around the peninsular and return to base with tired bodies and open hearts. Shower, rest, food prep. - we know the score now and work as a team. Warm laughter and good company are constantly present. Maybe you chose to dive deeper in conversation or to simply sit back and enjoy the company.

We savour good food around the camp fire following the ageless tradition of our male ancestors. As dusk begins to gather, singer/songwriter Felix, our guest, treats us to some of his favourite songs. A guitar and a harmonious voice - so much feeling and presence. Between the songs, we chat about life and draw inspiration from the words of Felix's songs and the experiences of the day.

On Sunday, after a morning stretch and a wholesome breakfast we round off our retreat with a manifestation exercise where you have the opportunity to fully embody the effect of your insights and set your intention for the future.

We close our gathering at 14.00 on Sunday. Local buses to Malmö for connections to other destinations depart regularly. There may even by the possibility of a lift to Malmö or further afield.

The theme for this Hike & Retreat is "Fatherhood"

Why "Fatherhood"?

While gowing up, our parents give us some of our strongest imprints (both positive and negative). As a boy, you are subconsciously most influenced by your father who usually becomes your clearest male role model. In adulthood, by focusing on yourself in relation to your father, you can see sides of yourself that help you become more aware of who you are. This can help you become a more whole person who is better able to enjoy life to the full.

Although "Fatherhood" is the main theme, we flow with what is happening within the group. Fatherhood is simply a catalyst. The theme gives us a key into oursleves and to deeper reflection. Once the process has started we follow it rather than the theme.

Oh yes! One more thing! We believe that personal development can be light and transparent. Of course you can come up against difficult emotions that need to be dealt with. However one of the core values of how we work with personal development is that it should be fun! As long as we are honest, sincere and brave enough to work with what comes up, it is fun! This is how we can uncover the treasure of a rich life. We know this from our own experience.

“I perceived Martin as a very powerful, but still soft coach, knowing when to ask a question and when to listen. For me it was of great importance to have a most present human being by my side.”
